Brief history of the Colts club....

The Village of Fulbourn.
The name Fulbourn is derived from the Anglo-Saxon 'Fugolburna' meaning 'a stream frequented by birds'.
The village is located 3 miles south of Cambridge and covers an area of 5270 acres. The community consists of 4,800 (estimated 2001) residents who enjoy the local ammenities of Five Pubs, a Chinese and a Fish & Chip shop. The supermarket is opposite a garage and along the same street as the butcher shop.

On site amenities

As well as two football pitches (G, H) and a training area (F) the sports ground also has three all weather tennis courts (E) as well as two concrete courts (J), a cricket pitch (I) and a grass bowls green (D), and for the children a fenced play area (B). The four changing rooms (C) are equiped with there own showers.
Half time tea will be served at a minimal charge, and the club has its own social club (A) with a good range of refreshments and snacks for all to enjoy.
Three and a half acres (K) have been purchsed and sown with grass, and will be available for mini-soccer pitches during 2003.
The football club obtained a grant of £14,500 from the F.A. to help the Parish Council develop this area of land.
